Re: Export to Word with Book format-How can we get the ID's BOLD ? ResmyFrancis - Fri Oct 08 02:14:37 EDT 2010 If you want to avoid the dxl involved in the exporter you can try the following. 1) In the DOORS module set the paragraph style of all objects with Object text to '<Object Text:YOURSTYLE>'. Where YOURSTYLE is one of the styles you have defined in your export template file for the different object types, (information, requirement, capability etc.) 2) In your Word Export template Create a newstyle, 'NormalBold' which is a copy of the current 'Normal' style. 3) Amend the 'NormalBold' font style to be Bold. Save the template 4) In DOORS start the exporter dialog, on the advanced tab ensure the 'use paragraph style' option is selected, select 'use style mapping', use the new template file, and then the export button. 5) In the pop up map the required 'Object text Level n' values to the 'NormalBold' style. Save the style file. (On subsequent runs you can just load this style file.) 6) Finish the export. Alternatively investigate WEXP ("other exporter facilities available"-- UK joke). Hope that helps. |

To get the IDs bold you would need to make your DXL layout something like this:
displayRich "{\\b ID: }" (identifier obj) // if you only want 'ID' bold
// displayRich "{\\b ID: " (identifier obj) "}" // if you want the complete line bold
